South Wood County Youth Hockey Association will be hosting our annual Cranberry Clash 3V3 hockey tournament. This fast-paced half ice game is a hit amongst the players, spectators and a great way to kick off your 2023-24 hockey year. This 3V3 tournament will be held at the South Wood County Recreational Center. We are targeting 40 teams based on “birth years” from ‘11’s – ‘16/Younger.
 
The plan is for five divisions broken down by team’s birth year. This will promote more equal and balanced competition at all levels. The deadline for registration is September 1, 2023. These tournaments fill up quickly, so please send in early if you would like a spot this year. Submission prior to the deadline DOES NOT GUARANTEE you will be in the tournament. Registration applications are processed in the order received. Submit your registration early to assure your spot and confirm with an e-mail that your registration has been sent and received.  For those who have not played 3V3 the game is amazingly fast and is similar to half court basketball. Upon change of possession, the puck must be cleared outside the blue line with all offensive players touching up prior to becoming involved it the play. The goalies complete as individuals and stay extremely busy.  
 
All teams are guaranteed 3 games, with the possibility of playing 5, 6 or even 7 games in this modified double elimination format. Individual awards are awarded to teams for 1st, 2nd, and 1st place goalies in each division.  
 
All players will need to show a copy of their birth certificate and turn in a signed liability waiver at check in. Please do not send birth certificates in early.  
 
Tournament cost: $150 per team or $30 per Goalie
